What to Expect
In order to heal the mind, we must invite the body into the safe space we create in therapy. Bringing the body into therapy ranges from yoga poses, to expressive art directives, to guided meditation/imagery. Each of these modalities will help you heal your entire self, not just the thoughts in your head.
In therapy, expect to be asked “What are you noticing in your body?” quite often. Expect that I may have you try out a yoga pose to release emotions held within your tissues. Expect that you will leave your appointment feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.
